How does shipping work?

Shipping is free for recipients of any transaction and paid by the sender.

How much does it cost?

Compact Discs :

Mailing costs depend on the item, but most single-disc items require only $0.63 to send. Postage for a disc in its case contained in an envelope usually is around $1. Depending on how much the booklet or manual weighs and how many CDs are in the case the shipping fee might be approximately $1.50 or more.

Game Cartridges and Miscellaneous Items :

The USPS postage for first class mail is $0.39 for the first 1 ounce and $0.24 for each additional ounce.

Does the game I send need to have the case and/or manual?

No. If you no longer have the case and/or manual you should send the item in a DVD sleeve.

If you plan on shipping a game without the case, be sure to make members aware of such. Do this by adding the text “Will Not Come with Case” in the comments section of your “edit game” screen. If you do not make a member aware that they will not receive the case they might give you a bad rating. Also, remember that when you do send the game along with the case you must weigh the item (or simply take it to the U.S. Post Office) and add the correct additional postage.

How should I send a game?

Mail sent through the USPS has proven to be reliable and is the most cost-effective way to send the items. FedEx, UPS, or DHL, also all work in unison with PlayerChain.com. When you are ready to ship simply package your game and use the address that was presented to you.

How long do I have to ship a game once I accept to send?

Once you agree to send the game you will have 3 days to ship.

Can I still send a game after the deadline?

Yes, you have the option to either upgrade your shipping service or to notify us through our "Contact Us" page. Explain your intention to send and we will notify the recipient. Understand that the longer the recipient waits the lower your feedback score will become. If your score gets too low, no one will want to trade with you.
