How does it work?

Posting Games to Trade:

Manually enter in the UPC code of the item. Finish by entering more specific identifying attributes. You determine the price / value of your item, so your trade-in value remains higher than it would through an exchange store.

Games You Want:

Search for the item you want by UPC, keyword, title, type, genre, gaming platform, price and much more. When you find an item you’re interested in simply request it from the owner. If there are multiple sellers of an identical item, you can auction your request to some or all of the owners. The first member to accept your request wins and the game is on its way.

Mailing Games:

When you accept to send your game, you will be provided with the shipping information of the recipient. You have three days to ship your item. It is important that you ship the item sold promptly because other users have the ability to provide feedback. If your score gets to low, no one will want to trade with you.

How do I earn Game Bucks?

You have three different ways to earn Game Bucks. The first way is to trade games with other members. The second way is to trade-in games to us. For each game you send to PlayerChain and other members, your account will be credited the amount of Game Bucks the item was sold for. You also have the option of purchasing Game Bucks from us. To purchase Game Bucks, you first must be logged into your account, then press the “add more” icon next to your Game Bucks register.

How do Game Bucks work?

Game Bucks are the virtual currency you use to trade items on our site. For example, let’s say you have an item in your inventory that another member wants. When you give that item to the other user, you will receive your asking price of the item in Game Bucks. Use your Game Bucks towards any item on our site. No “real” money is ever involved in our trades, but your game still retains a high trade-in value on our site.

What is the difference between Game Bucks and Available Requests?

Game Bucks are the virtual currency used by the site to assign a value to each and every vidoe game. This is your “money” you can use for trading games with other users. One Game Buck is equivalent to one U. S. Dollar. So, if you traded your game to another member for a value of 30 Game Bucks, you now have “30 bucks” to spend anywhere on the site for more stuff. When conducting a trade, you determine the trade-in value of your game and what you will accept for it.

Available Requests are more like value tokens you need to be able to make trades on the site (These value tokens are also known as our membership fee). You only need one Available Request in your account to receive a game from another user.

How do I request a game?

Click on the “Browse” navigation tab on the top of your account page and use our selection criteria to search for the item you want. When you find an item you want click on the "Request Item" icon next to the description of the owner.

How does the multiple request function work?

Click the "view sellers" icon when you find a title you want. If there are multiple sellers for this item simply check the boxes of the members you wish to request from and click the multiple request button. The first person to respond by accepting your offer wins. Our “first come first serve” system makes it more efficient for you.

What if I request a game and the person doesn’t respond?

Our members have 7 days to respond to a request. If they do not respond within the 7 day time frame the request is cancelled. We keep an eye on our members to make sure they are proactively responding to requests. Although Silver memberships never expire, inactive accounts (meaning non-responsive to activity) will be reviewed for cancellation.

How do I receive my game?

The game you have requested will be mailed to the address you have provided.

How long does it take to receive the game I requested?

Generally your vidoe game will arrive in 5-7 business days. Every situation is different on the account of the sender’s location and choice of shipping. To help your trade run smoothly, you as the sender may wish to provide tracking information to the recipient so they can view the item in transit.

Once I receive my game do I have to do anything?

Once you receive your game click the "I have received this item" link in your account. At this time you may also wish to leave feedback on the sender.

What if someone does not send me the game as requested?

Notify us through our "Contact Us" page. We will look into the situation and correct it immediately. You will not be charged Game Bucks nor will you lose available requests if you do not receive a game.

*Every dispute is noted and logged by PlayerChain.com and fraud is not tolerated. Any member who accepts an offer and does not send the item as promised will immediately get banned from the site and they will loose all Game Bucks and available credits associated with their account. No refund will be provided.

How will I know when my game is being summoned?

PlayerChain.com will update your account showing you what needs attention, whether it is to alert you of incoming offers or simply to notify you that the trade has been completed. You will also receive the same updates via your personal email account.

I accepted an offer, but my account was not credited the Game Bucks I am owed. Why is that?

Once you approve the trade, the appropriate amount of Game Bucks are “frozen” from the buyers account and held in trust by the site. Your account is not credited for the trade until you complete it. Once you confirm the item has been shipped, you will instantly have your Game Bucks released to you.

How does shipping work?

How do I join?

You can click the "Sign Up Now!" button on the top of every page to get started.

How much does it cost?

PlayerChain.com is free to sign up. All we charge is a small $2.50 fee for games you receive. If you plan on trading frequently, we also have great plans as low as 2 dollars a month. These are the only charges you will incur from us.

What are the benefits of membership?

Being a member of PlayerChain.com puts the power of choice back into your hands. You will save hundreds of dollars a year. Why? Because you can receive full market value of the vidoe games you own to trade in for more games. For years, you have been forced to trade in a video game worth 50 dollars for 15 dollars in store credit (and that's if you’re lucky). Can I cancel anytime?

You can cancel your membership online, 24 hours a day, with no cancellation fees.

How long does my membership last?

If you have chosen a membership plan with us, then your account will remain active until your plan expires. If however you pay per transaction, your account will never expire unless you have become non-responsive to account activity.

Are there any other fees?

No. PlayerChain.com charges either a transaction fee or a membership fee depending on which plan matches your needs best. You will incur no other charges from us.

Why do you need to know my e-mail address?

PlayerChain.com uses your e-mail address to notify you regarding transactions and membership renewal notification. If you lose your password, it can also be sent to your address. We hate spam just as much as you do. That is why we only use your email information for contacting you about transaction activity and messages that only pertain to our relationship. How do I know how many Game Bucks I have?

Once you are signed into your account page, you can view your Game Bucks at the top left corner of the page.

What do I do if I can’t remember my password?

Simply click the “Forgot Your Password?” button on the members sign in page and we will send it to your e-mail address.

Will my credit card information be secure?

Yes. Your credit card information is not stored with us. Every credit card transaction on PlayerChain.com is verified through Pay Pal’s encrypted server.

What is “My Inventory”?

This is the list of games in your possession that you are willing to trade for Game Bucks.

How do I remove, add, or edit games I place online?

If you wish to add items click the "Add Items" icon in your Inventory folder. Click the “Edit” link next to the item you wish to change. On the "Edit" page, you also have the option to hide your game if at that time you do not wish to trade it.

What is “Items I've Requested”?

This shows all the pending requests for items you have made.

How do I change my account information?

Click the “My Account” link on the top right of your account page.

Why would my available balance be different than what my account shows?

When you request an item from another member, the Game Bucks in your account equivalent to the items value price are "frozen" until the transaction has been completed. This is so users cannot request multiple items that they can't afford. This also keeps our members from receiving frivolous item requests.

How many games am I allowed to trade?

There is no limit to how many vidoe games you can trade. The more you send the more you receive.

Can I purchase Game Bucks?

Yes. Simply click the “Add More” button next to your Game Bucks register on your dashboard/account page.

How do I leave feedback on a sender?

After confirming receipt of the item you will be prompted to give feedback on the sender.

How much will I save?

We are different from the average game exchange store. They make a profit off of the value of your game. If your game is worth 50 dollars, they might give you 15 or 20 for it, a small percentage of its real value. They then turn around and sell it for what it’s worth (50 dollars). In the end, you received 30% to 40% of your game’s true value. With Player Chain’s new service, you can receive 50 dollar trade-in credit value for your 50 dollar game. All we charge you is a small membership fee to be a part of our network (We have plans as low as 2 dollars a month). That’s it! We have found Player Chain will save you up to 70% or more.

What if you don’t have the game I want?

You can place it in your wish list. We are growing at an incredible rate and new members are signing up daily. As soon as another member adds it to their inventory you will be notified.

What if someone sends me a scratched/unplayable game?

Notify us through our "Contact Us" page, and we will correct the situation. You will not get charged Game Bucks nor will you lose any available requests. In order for this to take place, we ask you to send the item to us so we can investigate more thoroughly. For more information, please contact us.

If the PlayerChain.com staff has come to the conclusion that this was a fraudulent trade, we will immediately ban the member from the site and they will loose all Game Bucks and available credits associated with their account. No refund will be provided.

Do you match me up with the person who has the game I need and I have the game they need?

No. You are not limited to a “game-for-a-game” trade with one member. With our credit system, you can give a game to “John” and take one from “Sarah”. You never have to make a direct trade.

How does your 100% Money Back Guarantee work?

If you become a paid member and you do not receive at least one game we will give you a full refund of your purchase price. If you do not use the website for its purpose (trading games) you deserve a refund. We want you to feel that you have received a good value for your money. You have nothing to lose, so give us a try.
